Updates on Mondays and Thursdays.
FERRET: Yeah, we have one litter: four kits. In fact, their birthday is coming up.
HOMER: What did you get them?
FERRET: We got little Ada a signed first edition of Donald Knuth's "Art of Computer Programming" Volumes 1-3. We named her for Ada Lovelace, of course. Nikola is getting a build-it-yourself X-ray machine kit.
HOMER: He's named for Nikola Tesla, I presume?
FERRET: And for Marie, we got her a lab safety kit, including a lead-lined apron. She's named for Marie Curie. You know how that whole "Lab Safety" thing worked out for her! And finally, for little Stephen, a collection of writing guides and a word processor.
HOMER: He's named for Stephen Hawking?
FERRET: No, for Stephen King. Someone in this family needs to make a living!
Honoring some of my heroes in this comic was a lot of fun. Even more than usual, I encourage everyone to mouse over everything and if you're interested, click for more.
